Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Service is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of HanStep Korean Medicine Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the "Clinic") and the users regarding the use of the website and AI chatbot service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") operated by the Clinic.

Article 2 (Definition of Terms)

  • "Service" refers to all services provided by the Clinic through the website and AI chatbot, including hospital information, health consultations (information provision), and appointment scheduling.
  • "User" refers to both members and non-members who receive the services provided by the Clinic in accordance with these Terms.
  • "AI Chatbot" refers to an automated conversational system based on artificial intelligence algorithms that answers user questions and assists with medical appointment scheduling.

Article 3 (Content and Limitations of Service)

The Clinic provides the following services:

  • ① Information provision regarding medical treatment areas (facial asymmetry, TMJ disorder, lifting, etc.)
  • ② Real-time consultation and appointment support using the AI chatbot
  • ③ Other tasks determined by the Clinic

[Medical Limitations] The information provided through this service (including the AI chatbot) is for reference purposes only to assist user understanding and cannot replace a formal diagnosis by medical staff. For accurate symptom assessment and treatment, users must visit the clinic and consult with medical professionals.

[Absence of Payment Functionality] There is no online payment (PG) system within this website. Payment for all medical treatments and procedures is made on-site after visiting the clinic.

Article 4 (Special Provisions for Appointments and AI Chatbot Use)

Users can schedule appointments through the AI chatbot or website forms.

[Use of Conversation Content for Treatment] If a user confirms an appointment via the AI chatbot, the content shared during the conversation (reported symptoms, areas of interest, consultation history, etc.) may be shared with the Clinic's medical staff and used as reference material to provide more accurate medical treatment and consultation.

By scheduling an appointment, the user is deemed to have consented to the provision of their chatbot conversation content to the medical staff.

Article 5 (Protection of Personal Information)

The Clinic handles user personal information with the utmost care and protects it in accordance with relevant laws and the Clinic's "Privacy Policy." However, system administrators and medical staff may access the database for the purpose of appointment management.

Article 6 (Disclaimers)

  • The Clinic is exempt from liability for providing services if it is unable to do so due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure events.
  • The Clinic is not responsible for any consequences arising from a user misinterpreting chatbot responses as professional medical diagnoses.
  • The Clinic is not responsible for any service usage disruptions caused by the user's fault.

Addendum
These terms shall be effective from March 12, 2026.
